Eeyore's Birthday

It's been around since 1963 and started as a picnic for UT students. As you can assume, it was the 60's and the hippie vibe was everywhere. So people have been attending for decades and if you sit down and talk to some of the people, you can hear about how it's dramatically evolved. The drum circles were pretty entertaining. Why it was next to the port-a-potties....don't ask me. But this was back in April, when the temperatures were not nearing 100.

The have a statue of Eeyore, it's pretty effing rad. I used it as a mark to know where the hell I was. Seeing as though I have no sense of direction, it kinda helped. Don't laugh until you have to use a giant statue of a fictional character to make your way back to your blanket and cooler.

It was a really great time, it's so much fun and so "Austin"
